The assault caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
